KeepNotes is a notes and tasks app for Android (package com.nanosolutions.keepnotes).
This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle.
The content you create — notes, tasks, checklists, reminders, folders, tags, images, audio, local backups, and version history — is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. KeepNotes does not upload, transmit, or have any server-side access to your notes or their contents. Notes you choose to lock are additionally encrypted at rest using the Android hardware-backed Keystore and your biometrics or PIN.
To understand how the app is used and to fix crashes, KeepNotes uses Google Firebase. This sends a limited amount of diagnostic and usage data — never your note content — to Google, which processes it on our behalf:
This data is used only to analyze usage trends, diagnose crashes, and improve the app. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or combine it with your note content (which never leaves your device). Google processes it under Firebase's data-processing terms; see also the Google Privacy Policy.
The analytics and crash data above is shared with Google (Firebase) solely to provide these services. We do not share your data with any other third parties, and we never sell it.
Firebase retains analytics and crash data for the periods described in Google's Firebase documentation. On-device data is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
KeepNotes is a general-purpose app and is not directed at children.
If the way we handle data changes, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
